Introducing Dr Hydro Fungus Gnat Root Drench, a highly effective solution for eliminating fungus gnat maggots while ensuring the safety of your plants.
Upon application, this solution swiftly eradicates gnat maggots, facilitating the easy capture of adult gnats using sticky traps near the growing media. Despite its strong initial reactivity, it transforms into plant-safe nutrients within a few hours, making it approved for use on organic crops. Although it may have a temporary 'rotting eggs' odor, the smell dissipates rapidly. Ensure proper ventilation when using it in enclosed spaces like greenhouses, polytunnels, or indoors.
Application guidelines:
Prior to opening the container, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
During mixing and spraying, use suitable face masks, eye shields, gloves, coveralls, and footwear. Ensure the face mask is fitted with a Type B filter.
For optimal results, allow the growing media to dry down for two days before application.
Add 50mL of concentrate to one liter of tap water, then use a watering can to drench the surface of the growing media. Apply enough diluted product to saturate the growing media.
For comprehensive control, reapply 7-10 days later to target any eggs laid after the initial application.
